Endless Summer Sun, Released March, 2003

Here it is, my third CD! "Endless Summer Sun!" My goal was to take it slow and have it out by late spring. Everything just kind of fell togehter and it's done!! I worked again with Mike O'Neill from Giant Gumball Studio here in Eau Claire and stayed true to the recording techniques we used on "Open Road." We added just enough to each song to fill it out a bit while leaving it still sounding like I do at a live show. Peter Phippen joined us again on the bass guitar and Michael Lien played percussion on a new recording of "No Shirt and Tie Guy, " my break out of the cubicle song from the first CD. We really tried to feature the song writing and there are some fun ones on here (a couple of serious ones too.) I covered John Prine's "Let's Talk Dirty in Hawaiian," a favorite from my live shows, there are songs about: my new fake ID, strange things people do while they drive, an ode to my summers and what I'm calling the world's worst country western song. It's great to have it done and I can't wait for people to hear it! :) |
