This is the opening track on the CD. It describes one of those days when you jump out of bed, ready to go, feeling like you can accomplish anything. I love those days! |

I love open roads that lead to new places. Whenever I feel like I'm stuck in a rut I long to jump in my car and hit the open road. The night I thought of this song I was on an open road in the middle of the night and enjoying the drive, until I got pulled over and got a big speeding ticket. :-) |

I've always loved superheros. Growing up, we'd spend a lot of time running around the neighborhood wearing underoos and homemade capes (underoos are underwear that look like the outfit of a superhero) This song is what would happen if you tried that as an adult |

I wrote this song about those times when the worries and the cares of the day seem to be getting the best of me. I remind my self to relax, take it easy and not worry. |

This is still one of my favorite songs from my first CD. It is about meeting someone and starting a new relationship, and the hope that this new person won't discover any of your character flaws. At least not right away. |
