The piano was my first instrument! My mom made us take piano lessons for most of elementary school. I quit when I was 11 or 12 to take up the guitar. I’ve regretted that decision for a long time. (Not playing the guitar, but giving up the piano!) When COVID hit and everything shut down, I decided to make up for it and started again on the piano. I’ve learned a ton of fun songs that fit into some different categories and I play several of my originals on piano too. Piano Favorites
These are the songs you’d expect to hear from a singing piano player! Elton John, Billy Joel, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bob Seger and the list goes on!
Mostly 50’s & 60’s
I do this show several times a month at assisted living facilities around the area. It’s so much fun! Lots of Elvis, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, etc.
Christmas
I’ve always loved playing Christmas music and I think the piano is better suited to Christmas music than the guitar. 2025 was the first time I had a full Christmas show prepared and thoroughly enjoyed the times I got to share that show. I’m hoping to do more Christmas shows in the years to come!
